A front-end developer's dream. RightNow Technologies needed a design overhaul of the admin UI for their social web application. This interface combines several complex pages into a new, tabbed and Ajax-driven panel and really cleans up the look and feel. Despite the radical overhaul, all existing functionality that was already deployed to customers remains intact.

In 1991, I designed the revolutionary animation interface for the award-winning 3D application, Infini-D. My breakthrough "timeline" interface spawned a usability revolution: time-based animation. The UI features "event marks" and bars representing change through time. This interface was the first true time-based (and event-based) animation interface and has become what Adobe now calls an "industry standard". First adapted to Adobe AfterEffects, my interface can now be found in Swift 3D, Lightwave 3D, Cinema 4D, MindAvenue AXEL, Anark Studio, and many, many other popular animation and 3D applications and even Photoshop.

This mobile app features search results from various data streams. The "federated" search combines results from blogs, knowledge base, RSS feeds, community posts and more.

After a big push to internationalize their social web application, RightNow Technologies needed a way for customers to translate admin-generated content. This was my novel solution. It defines a new, never-before-seen UI pattern for form translation. The user can simply tab through the form (or use J/K or arrow keys) and translate fields on the fly... Sehr gut!

RightNow Technologies had an urgent need to address scalability as increasingly large customers signed on for their social application. The UI challenge was to display paginate comments without exact counts (due to the expensive database hit required to calculate totals). Additionally, they needed to be able to display unread content deep within comment threads on different pages. This is a mockup of the solution I designed (under development).
